OKX reports 139,865 BTC in customer accounts, up 4.07%, in 47th reserve report

OKX's 47th proof-of-reserves report, based on a Sept. 8 snapshot, lists 139,865 BTC in customer accounts, up 4.07% from August, against a 109% reserve ratio.

Why it matters

Customer bitcoin balances rose 4.07% while the reported bitcoin reserve ratio slipped from 111% to 109%, and the report carries no price or volume figures, so it shows coverage rather than market effect. The Crypto Basic's framing that exchanges are expected to hold more than 1:1 backing since the FTX collapse in November 2022 is the only industry-standard claim in the set. Apart from the reserve ratios themselves, this is routine monthly disclosure, and the XRP breakdown rests on a single outlet's reading of the report.
