ZetaChain community votes 99.4% in favor of migrating ZETA token to Solana

Crypto.News reported that ZetaChain's Proposal 68, which proposes migrating the ZETA token to Solana and eventually shutting down ZetaChain's own Layer 1, received 99.4% support in a governance vote. The outlet said ZetaHub's live tally showed 58% participation, above the required 40% quorum, with 0.3% voting against and 0.3% abstaining, and voting was scheduled to close at 14:58:18 UTC on Sept. 20 after a 72-hour period. Under the proposal, ZETA would convert one-for-one into a native Solana SPL token without increasing total supply, and Crypto.News noted the project Anuma would bring more than 300,000 users to Solana along with its encrypted Private Memory Layer. The article said the vote itself does not move ZETA or shut down the network; a second proposal would still need to set the migration dates, snapshot height, claims process, exchange coordination and the ZetaChain L1 halt schedule.
